Edwards Elementary Parent Partners
The Edwards Elementary Parent Partners is dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of our teachers, staff, students, and families. Our primary goal is to strengthen the school community by working together to provide resources and opportunities for everyone.
One of our biggest efforts each year is organizing Wild West Day, a fun-filled family event held in September at 4 Eagle Ranch. This event serves as our primary fundraiser, contributing over 70% of the PTA's annual budget. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised approximately $12,000 this year! Our other big fundraiser is our holiday Santa and Movie at the Riverwalk Theater each year in December.
Throughout the school year, Parent Partners volunteer in a variety of ways, including assisting with lunch and recess duties, providing library support, helping in classrooms, organizing teacher appreciation activities, and leading special projects like the Holiday Giving Tree, Pancake Breakfast, special assemblies, field trips, and family events.
Additionally, our Parent Partners help fund essential school supplies, such as classroom books, playground and PE equipment, art and music resources, library materials, and much more.
We are proud to have bi-cultural and bilingual representation within our school community, and our Parent Partners meetings are open to all. These gatherings are an opportunity to stay informed about what's happening at school, connect with others, and contribute to your child's educational experience.
We invite all families and teachers to join us in building a stronger, more connected school community. Your participation helps create a richer educational environment for all students and offers a chance to make lasting friendships while actively supporting our school’s mission.
