Field Day for Kindergarten through 4th Graders occurs in the second last week of school. 5th Grade Field Day occurs earlier in May and is a district wide event allowing 5th graders to meet others who will go to Middle School with them.

Field Day encourages students to be involved in physical activity and to co-operate. With their classmates and teacher students rotate through a dozen different activities, each lead by a Specialist teacher or parent. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as activity leaders or to participate with their child.

Students are encouraged to be appropriately dressed, including a hat and sunscreen. And while popcorn and water are provided, most students prefer to have their own water bottle.
