Students at EES are lucky to have six different specialist classes each week. Each class lasts for 45 minutes. In addition to teaching the state standards for their specific subject, specialists also work hard to integrate literacy and numeracy. Specials allow students to learn in different ways to their regular classroom lessons. Specialists send home a monthly newsletter to let parents know what they are currently teaching.
