How do I enroll my child?

Enrollment at Edwards Elementary School occurs by appointment only.  While parents tour the school and complete paperwork, students will be tested to determine appropriate class placement.  Please call the school as soon as possible to obtain an appointment.  You will need to bring the following documents with you:

          Birth Certificate

          Immunization Record

Evidence that you live in the enrollment area

          Social Security Number

You will also need to complete a packet that includes information such as parent home and work phone numbers.

How do I enroll my child for Kindergarten?

Like all elementary schools in Eagle County, Kindergarten enrollment at EES begins with Kindergarten Round-up. This year’s Round-up will be held February 25 & 26 in English and February 27 & 28 in Spanish. Both parents and perspective students are asked to join us for an informational session. Parents meet with administrators and teachers, while the children meet with the Kindergarten staff.  These sessions last about 1-½ hours and are small groups of about 6 families. Appointments are necessary. Please call the office at 328-2970 after Feb. 4th to make your appointment.
